If you’ve followed our website this year, you read about Sustain Abingdon’s new community garden at Fairview. Now, we’re adding programming geared to encourage you to grow your own garden! Please join us on Tuesday, August 9, at 6:30 p.m., when Randy Smith, coordinator of the Washington County Public Library’s Seed Savers library, will present a program on saving seeds from the garden.
Smith, will share information on how you can participate in the program and more about the program’s mission and vision. We encourage anyone interested in gardening to join us and learn more about this great program!
The event is FREE and open to the public. It will be held on the Fairview property in the Bunn Educational Center (the white house next door to the Fairview cabin). Questions? Please call 276-676-0216 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
